From Friday evening through to Sunday afternoon, we will do Yoga, draw, eat good food, walk, nap, chat and rest.  We will play with creativity, re-energise the body and enjoy the peace of nature.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice, relax, re-vitalise, away from the usual demands of daily life. 
Sybille and Chloe invite you to come and play, take care of yourself, and simply enjoy being. 

This weekend retreat is set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The house is set high up in beautiful woodland with stunning views of the Surrey Hills. Glorious sunsets and an abundance of birdlife are often seen from the house. Surrounded by 40 acres of fields, woodland, orchards and gardens, there are many idyllic spots to sit and unwind. It is only 1 hour from London by train and a short taxi ride.

Yoga and Drawing

This retreat is open to all levels of practitioners. It is not required that you have any previous experience or knowledge in drawing as everyone will be exploring it at the same time in a playful way. We will be warming up by drawing yoga poses from a clothed life model and cooling down in nature with meditative drawing en plein air. 
A minimum of experience of Yoga is advised (even just a few classes). Classes will include dynamic and restorative yoga.
Of course you can attend as many or as few sessions as you like, this is your retreat, nothing is compulsory!

Cuisine











The food will be prepared by Sybille who as well as teaching Yoga is a vegetarian chef, teaching and cooking healthy food in London. 
All the meals will be a mixture of vegetarian, vegan gluten free and raw food. They will be made using organic, eco-friendly and ethically produced food wherever possible.
Sybille loves cooking food that looks good, that tastes good and that makes you feel good. She is not too dogmatic about her food and believes that if we listen carefully to our body it tells us what it needs.
This is the perfect kind of food to accompany the yoga practice as it is deeply nourishing, energising, satisfying, and beautiful, without loading the system with toxins.

Accommodation and facilities
The Kilnhanger retreat center is just one hour from London and is surrounded by wooded hills and open space. There is a fully equiped yoga studio with a stunning view facing the valley, a swimming pool, garden and tennis court. It accomodates up to 8 guests. Accomodation is shared (double or twin). Please specify your choice of room and any sharing partners or friends so this can be accommodated for appropriately

How to get there: 
By Train: The nearest train station is Guildford or Chilworth, with trains leaving from London Waterloo Station. Once in Guilford or Chilworth taxis are available to take you to Kilnhanger for about £20.

How to Book:

Cost (per person) and payment:
The price is £295 per person. This includes 2 nights shared accomodation, all meals, yoga classes and drawing sessions. Transportation costs are not included.

A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to hold your space. The balance will be due and cleared no latter than 13th May 2013.

Cancellation policy: 

Please let us know as soon as possible if something comes up and you can’t attend the retreat. We always endeavor to treat cancellations fairly and sympathetically, but as spaces are limited the following applies: We’ll refund you the full amount you’ve paid minus the deposit (£100) if you cancel 30 days BEFORE the start of the retreat. If you cancel WITHIN 30 days of the retreat, no refund will be issued unless we find a replacement for the vacancy created by your cancellation. If we do find a replacement, we will refund everything you’ve paid minus the deposit to you within 15 days.

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance when you book the retreat.

Sybille and Chloe both have a passion for creativity and yoga as a way of helping us connect to ourselves and to our own truth. They believe that Yoga and drawing can be the same, a tool to become more aware, more connected to who we really are. This creates a very exciting, playful and inquisitive practice in both activities.
